WHAT IS QIGONG?

Qigong (pronounced "chee-gong") is a centuries-old practice that combines gentle movement, breathing, posture, and mindful awareness to improve health, energy, and wellbeing.

At its heart, Qigong is the art of learning how to work with your body rather than against it.

WHAT DOES QIGONG MEAN?

The word "Qigong" is made up of two Chinese words:

Qi (Chi) – often translated as life energy, vitality, or the body's natural living processes.

Gong – meaning skill developed through consistent practice.

Together, Qigong can be understood as:

"The practice of developing vitality through training."
